The K5 Pro is equipped with AKM's AK4493EQ DAC chips, known for their smooth, pleasant yet detailed sound due to high signal-to-noise ratio and low distortion. The device supports audio up to 768kHz/32-bit sampling rates and bit-depths, as well as native DSD.

For the USB audio interface, the K5 Pro utilizes the XMOS XUF208 microcontroller, renowned for its stability, powerful functionality, and proven reliability.

The combination of the flagship TI TPA6120 op-amp and the OPA1642 JEFT op-amp, paired with the NJRC NW1195A analog volume adjustment chip, provides the K5 Pro with wonderfully smooth yet high-resolution sound, along with utterly precise volume control.

The use of ADC volume control not only eliminates channel volume imbalances, but also allows the user to smoothly adjust the volume to a more accurate and finer degree, catering to headphones of various sensitivities for diverse listening needs.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the all-aluminum black body of the K5 Pro has been painstakingly CNC-machined, anodized, and sandblasted, ensuring a robust yet perfectly textured feel in the user's hands.

The K5 Pro offers selectable low, medium, and high gain levels, accommodating a wide range of headphone power requirements. Moreover, the RGB light indicator surrounding the volume knob provides visual cues, flashing in different colors to quickly identify the current sample rate: 48kHz and below (blue), 48kHz and above (yellow), and DSD (green).

For precise control, the K5 Pro features toggle switches for input selection (USB DAC/SPDIF IN/LINE IN) and gain adjustment (Low 0dB/Medium +6dB/High +10dB), enabling easy management of your music.

The K5 Pro offers a versatile array of connection options, including coaxial, optical, and RCA line-in inputs, as well as 6.34mm (1/4 in.) headphone outputs and RCA line-out, catering to a variety of scenarios.

Powered by a DC 15V power supply designed to minimize noise, the K5 Pro's audio circuit has been redesigned and further optimized to unleash the full potential of the TPA6120, delivering a total power output of up to 1.5W under a 32Ω load and up to 20Vpp at 300Ω, ensuring exceptional performance with a wide range of headphones.

The K5 Pro ESS headphone amplifier achieves new heights in sound quality, featuring the ES9038PRO 32-bit DAC and the XUF208 USB decoding chip, which supports up to 768kHz and DSD256 inputs, as well as mobile phone connectivity.
